Benedict Cumberbatch will be returning to the MCU for the third time with Avengers: Infinity War, playing Doctor Strange. With just days left for the release of the film, the cast and crew are going full throttle on the promotions. And of course, the more they get pried by interviewers and the more they speak, chances of them giving out spoilers for the movie increase. While the cast members have been trained to the T to keep the secrets hidden, there are minor slip ups once in a while. The latest one is by Benedict on The Graham Norton Show.
Graham asked Benedict to give out plot details which he of course flatly refused. But for a follow-up conversation, the host simply asked the actor that Doctor Strange must be helping the world in some or the other. That is when Benedict fell into the trap and said, “The world and the worlds beyond it potentially.” The host and the audience gasped in unison. Well, there could be so many meanings to this one line by Benedict. Could he be talking about saving Asgard – which was destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok? Or is this about the infamous time travel theory? Will We actually see Benedict travel through time and dimensions to defeat Thanos? On second thoughts this spoiler has confused us more than clearing things up.
Avengers: Infinity War releases on April 27, worldwide.
