Kumkum Bhagya starts with Pragya(Sriti Jha) and Aliya face off. Pragya starts counting Aliya’s sins as she reminds her of the time Aliya made a fake MMS of her and another guy just so she can be thrown out of the house. She also talks of being used by Aliya so she can get Purab. Aliya accuses Pragya also faking her identity before Abhi(Shabbir Ahluwalia). Pragya says that it is her problem what she does before Abhi and she does not need to explain to the two of them. Pragya says that Aliya fell so low in her attempt to throw Pragya out that she tried killing Abhi himself. Pragya asks Aliya to stop as she can never separate her from Abhi. She also asks Tanu to concentrate on her own career and asks Aliya to concentrate on improving her relationship with her brother rather than trying to create a rift between her and Abhi. Pragya warns them and gives them the last chance to improve and walks away. Aliay and Tanu are left wondering what they should do  now. As they walk down they bump into Abhi. Tanu and Aliya are left aghast to know that Pragya might have told Abhi everything. Abhi warns Tanu and Aliya to start respecting his wife and then try calling him her brother. Aliya walks away as Tanu  follows her. Pragya tells Munni to go away someplace safe with her kids. Pragya feels that Tanu and Aliya will not lie low for long and they might plan something. Munni is reluctant as she feels she cannot leave Pragya alone in this mess. Pragya somehow convinces her to go. Later Munni asks Pragya to never leave Abhi as probably Abhi loves Pragya too much and he becomes lonely with a house full of people if she is not with him. Munni hugs Pragya to take leave of her. Tanu asks Aliya to cool it as it would be good for them to listen to Pragya right now. Aliya though is not convinced and wants to find out why Pragya is hiding her identity  from the family when she very well can reveal everything to all of them.
