Salman Khan fans, it’s time to rejoice! Sajid Nadiadwala, who directed Salman in Kick has announced the sequel of the film, which will hit the theatres during Christmas in 2019. Yep! You read that right! And needless to say, the second part will be bigger and better. “I am glad to announce that the second installment of Kick will hit the theaters during the Christmas holidays in 2019 and I am really excited to direct my second film,” Nadiadwala told Bombay Times. Kick revolves around Devi Lal (Salman), who gets a ‘kick’ out of doing the most odd things in life. He does things that make him happy or in his words give him a kick. It is this desire that turns him into Devil, who steals from the rich to help the less-privileged children.
This is going to be Salman’s third sequel movie. First two being Tiger Zinda Hai (sequel to Ek Tha Tiger) and Dabangg 2. Interestingly, sequels have worked for the superstar. Tiger Zinda Hai, which released in December last year continues to make insane amount of money at the box office. In it’s seventh weekend, the movie managed to earn Rs 60 lakh thereby taking it’s total domestic box office collection to a whopping Rs 338.79 crore. As for Dabangg 2, it made Rs 149 crore at the box office compared to Dabangg, which earned Rs 141 crore. ALSO READ: Decoding these 10 tweets of Salman Khan can easily qualify as a Bigg Boss task!
