Monday sure has begun on a grand note.  Nagarjuna, the Telugu superstar has gone ahead and shared his first pictures of his next film. This is no ordinary film as he all set to collaborate with Ram Gopal Varma for this one. They are teaming up again after 28 years! The film si touted to be an intense cop actioner. The first look posters also suggest – we see different sides to Nagarjuna as he owns the revolver like a pro. This film is easily going to be the most anticipated project of this year. Only recently, Nagarjuna made the announcement – Super excited to start RGV’s cop drama with his intense stylised action on nov20/wanted to announce it myself but the media beat me to it”. Ram Gopal Varma made an announcement too and also admitted that he was feeling emotional about it.

28 years ago, Ram Gopal Varma made his debut with Siva that starred Nagarjuna. The film explored college politics and the impact of anti social elements on the same. The movie went on to become a roaring hit. In fact, it’s considered a cult classic. The movie won several awards. The movie was hugely praised for the introduction of new sound techniques. Nagarjuna career went through a major change post this film. While making the annoucement of their next project, Nagarjuna admitted that everybody was shocked when he signed on a film with Ram Gopal Varma. Here’s hoping they delivering yet another blockbuster!

Nagarjuna was last seen in Raju Gari Gadhi 2, a horror comedy that also starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The movie opened to positive reviews and fared decently at the box office. He is currently bust the post production of Hello that happens star his son – Akhil. As for Ram Gopal Varma, he is busy with the biopic on NTR that will be told from the veteran actor’s wife’s perspective. This controversial has not been acknowledged by many in the industry. Interestingly, another biopic starring NTR’s son – Nandamuri is in the works.
