Kundali Bhagya starts with Preeta(Shraddha Arya) meeting a prospective groom and the boy asks Preeta if she ever had any boyfriend. Preeta tells him that she almost had got engaged and the engagement broke as the boy’s family had high demands. Sarla worries if Preeta will tell Prithvi about her broken engagement. Karan(Dheeraj Dhoopar) hopes that Preeta tells Prithvi about the broken engagement and their wedding does not happen. Srishti is shocked at his weird wish. She says that he is just getting his ego hurt because his  judgement was wrong about Prithvi. Karan is disturbed as he thinks how to let the marriage not happen. Prithvi seems to find so many common things between himself and Preeta. He tells her that she need not be ashamed or worried telling him about such a broken relationship. He also tells her he had a serious relationship which broke too and his mom too asked him not to tell her about this. The marriage almost gets fixed as Srishti notices Karan really upset and wonders if there is more to this. Karan tells Sameer that only he can handle Preeta as she talks and fights all the while. Prithvi shocks him as he says yes for the marriage and Preeta gets disturbed. Karan and Preeta look at each other as Srishti wonders what is up between them. Kareena tells Rishabh(Manit Joura) that Sherlin has kept fast for him and he wants to stop her. Rishabh asks Sherlin to stop this fast as he does not like her torturing herself. Rishabh goes on to talk to his mother as Kareena congratulates Sherlin for being so smart. Sarla and her family celebrate as Karan is very disturbed and Preeta too seems a bit tensed. Sameer goes home as Karan stays. Srishti congratulates her sister as she praises Prithvi and says they have P as their initials and they are made for each other. Karan walks in angry and says there was a movie PK which was super hit. Karan sends Srishti away saying he wants to talk to Preeta alone. As Srishti goes away Karan tells Preeta that he knows that she is aware what he wants to tell her. He holds her and they have an eyelock.
