Amy Jackson’s look in 2.O is more IMPRESSIVE than Kangana Ranaut in Krrish 3 and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Robot, say fans

Last week, we got a surprise from the 2.O team when they revealed the look of Amy Jackson from the movie. Though we had an inkling about it, the poster confirmed that Amy Jackson is playing an android and a hot one at that. We never had many female androids in Indian cinema to compare her with. Having a movie like Ex Machina, starring the Oscar winning Alicia Vikander, is still a long dream here, but perhaps Amy Jackson could lead the way here.

Like I said before, we don’t have any yardstick in Indian cinema to compare her with, so we tried to size her up with Kangana Ranaut in Krrish 3 and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from Enthiran/Robot. Now Kangana Ranaut didn’t exactly play a robot in Krrish 3, more of a mutant who had the same poise as Amy in 2.O. As for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, she played a normal girl in Enthiran, but in a dream sequence, she had a robotic look. We asked for readers to vote for which look were they impressed the most. Needless to say, Amy turned out to be the winner.

Amy Jackson got around 44% votes leading the poll while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got the second position with 34% votes. Kangana Ranaut’s mutant look got the final spot with just 22% votes. Check out the results below,

2.O is directed by Shankar and is the sequel to his own 2010 movie, Enthiran. Rajinikanth reprises his dual roles from the original movie – that of Vaseegaran the human scientist and Chitti, the chameleonic android. Akshay Kumar, in his South debut, plays the main antagonist.
