Sushant Singh Rajput is currently at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as part of his prep for Viki Rajani’s Chanda Mama Door Ke, India’s first space odyssey. Sushant has started training at the center this week, part of which includes experiencing zero gravity,docking the shuttle to the ISS, flying a space shuttle simulator and training in other simulations programmes at NASA. While he is known to go all out for his characters, the actor is really pushing it with this role impressing even the NASA technical team. The actor plays an astronaut in the film. Says Dr Upendra Singh , from the NASA Technical team for sensors and instrumentation, “I had a chance to see Sushant Rajput and I’m extremely proud of Sushant ,who is training as an astronaut and putting in tremendous effort. Directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan,Chanda Mama Door Ke,starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead, is based on a team of astronauts whose mission brings the country together. Sushant said in a media statement, “I have always been fascinated by outer space. As a kid too, I was interested in stars, constellations and galaxies. I always wanted to know what life in space would be like.
