SS Rajamouli has stunned the world with his magnum opus, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The movie has not only impressed everyone across the world, but also set the box office on fire. Though it was released in four languages – Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil, it is the Hindi version that has impressed us the most. This is quite simply because even on day 5, while the other versions dipped, the Hindi version has continued its impressive run. It raked in another Rs 30 crore to take the film’s total tally in the Hindi version to Rs 198.25 crore in just five days.
Talking about the detailed box office collections, trade analyst and industry tracker, Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Baahubali2 Hindi – Day 5 (Tuesday, May 2nd) BO Nett: 4 Days Total – Rs 168.25 crore, Day 5 Nett – Rs 30 crore, 5 Days Total – Rs 198.25 crore” During this magical run, Baahubali 2 has not only smashed several records, but also raked in a massive Rs 440 crore through all the versions in the domestic market alone. However, with a decent occupancy even today, we are sure the movie will continue to rake in the moolah at the box office. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has not only impressed the audience but the critics too. Our critic, Sreeju Sudhakaran mentioned in his review, “Baahubali 2 is an experience that should be enjoyed on the big screen. I would recommend the movie for Prabhas and Anushka Shetty’s powerful performances and its epic grandeur.”
