It’s the season of spies down South. We have Ajith playing one in the upcoming Vivegam that is directed by Siruthai Siva. Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss have joined hands to make another stylish spy thriller in SPYder. Even close to Bollywood, we have Salman Khan returning to his popular spy role in the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, called Tiger Zinda Hai. Now we have Vikram playing a stylish spy in Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. We have seen the first teaser of the movie some time back, now be ready for the second teaser, that’s all about style and swag of Vikram playing to the beats of Harris Jayaraj’s amazing BGM.
The new teaser of Dhruva Natchathiram has Vikram’s voiceover telling someone that he is coming, and the man challenging him to come. As this conversation goes, we see a small plane arrive on an airstrip at the same time as a car arrives. Then we see Vikram, all style and glam, coming out of the airplane and then getting inside the car. The teaser then shows various visuals of the actor at various places in Chennai. We are just loving his salt and pepper hair and beard. But one doubt still lingers for us, and that doubt applies to almost every spy movie we have seen – aren’t spies supposed to gel with the crowds and not stand out?
Here’s the teaser…
BTW, I forgot to mention this – the above teaser was released as a gift to Chiyaan Vikram on his birthday.
