The noise over Nepotism debate may have subsided for now but its very much present on everyone’s mind. The most recent person to voice about the same is Sushant Singh Rajput. He is a self made man who literally started from scratch with not much contacts in the industry but mainly just talent. And look where that has brought him! He is presently one of the most loved actors. Ask him what his thoughts are on nepotism, and he gives a very genuine answer. At the IIFA voting event that is currently taking place, the actor said, “Having the luxury of choosing from scripts and doing films that I love, I can’t complain. But yes, nepotism is there and everywhere. And it can exist till the time it doesn’t stop someone from coming up.” Despite making a few bad choices in his film career, Sushant proved his mettle as an actor in all his films.
In fact, his film, MS Dhoni – The Untold Story upped his stance in the industry as one of the most bankable actors. The nepotism debate found the light of day after Kangana Ranaut shook the entire nation by calling out Karan Johar on his show over the same. Since then, this question of celebrities’ opinion on nepotism has become necessary at every event. Considering how even SSR had a rough initial days before he became the most wanted, his response was very humble and apt. Isn’t that the biggest concern about nepotism? That a lot of times it results in the right people being unable to make a mark?
