Not only is Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finally getting a phenomenal (let’s hope) film after some ‘not so great’ solo movies but it has managed to top the Marvel charts as one of the most viewed teaser-trailer in 24 hours! Let’s face it, even now each one of us who is a Marvel nerd has been sneakily watching Thor: Ragnarok’s teaser trailer atleast once! Well, we do it shamelessly on a daily basis. And we’re pretty sure that a lot of you might be doing the same. Hence, it has managed to reach a crazy number of 136 million views, that too in 24 hours. Yes, the numbers aren’t as much as Stephen King’s It trailer but it is number one for Marvel. In fact, more than Marvel, it is Disney’s highest viewed teaser trailer. For all those who don’t know, Disney is the parent company of Marvel and Thor has broken all the records created by the other movies to become the highest viewed in 24 hours.

Earlier, it was The Beauty and the Beast trailer stood tall as a record-holder for Disney with 127.6 million views. Following the same was Star Wars: The Force Awakens, that raked in 112 million times views in the same time frame. Finally, we have Captain America: Civil War with 94 million views. So you can see the graph and how Thor has managed to defeat all the records made by these movie trailers.

Although, yes, it is not the most viewed overall. Currently, trailer of Stephen King’s It has raked in maximum number of views and stands tall in the first position with 197 million views in 24 hours. Wow. That is crazy awesome. Despite being slightly scared, the nostalgia factor makes it a good watch. The tease and well, ‘It’ make the trailer engaging. Fate of the Furious, that released on Friday, got 139 million views, which is a pretty good record. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba and more, the film is helmed by Taika Waititi. People still can’t stop talking about the marvellous trailer delivered by Thor. With Cate taking up the badass Hela’s role and Thor and Hulk having a face-off, there’s far too much to expect from this film.
