Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar have been ruling Bollywood since the past few decades. These four superstars have achieved things that no one can ever imagine. They have set records that many will never be able to break. However, looks like there is someone apart from them, who has achieved something even bigger. And she is truly the ultimate superstar! Yes, we are talking about Sridevi. She has been a versatile actress and a complete entertainer over the past few decades. She has evolved over the years and been a part of the ever-changing industry since the past 50 years. In fact, while many actresses have come and gone, she has been delivering stellar performances year after year.

So, to pay a tribute to the actress, the Sultan of Bollywood, Salman Khan appeared on Zee Cine Awards 2017 and surprised her. While the host, Maniesh Paul, started praising Salman Khan and called him the “Star of the Millennium,” the superstar humbly shifted everyone’s attention to Sridevi. He said, “Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay (Kumar), and I have all done many films. Aamir may have done about 50 films – as he does only one film per year; Shah Rukh may have done more than 100 films. Put together, we may have all done about 250-275 films. But amidst us stands a legend who has done over 300 films in different languages. She can be a mother, she can be a child, a singer, dancer and even a Charlie Chaplin. God alone knows how she has managed to do what she has done. Absolutely touched by Salman’s speech, the gorgeous Sridevi came on the stage and said, “I don’t know how time just flew by. I remember my mother accompanying me to sets, I couldn’t do anything without my mother and now I am one. I am a proud mother of two gorgeous children. Having acted in not just Hindi films but also Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films, Sridevi is one of India’s most prolific female actors who has acted in 300 films till date. The actor was last seen in the critically acclaimed movie, English Vinglish and will soon be seen in the upcoming movie, Mom.
