Veteran actor Om Puri reportedly died of a heart attack at his place on January 6, 2017 morning. But later Mumbai Police filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR). According to reports, the preliminary postmortem report of the deceased actor states that the cause of death as ‘unknown’, started rumours of foul play involved in the case. Later, a Mumbai Mirror report stated that, Om Puri’s postmortem report suggests his death can’t be called natural for his body was found with a sharp injury on his head. And if these reports were not disturbing enough, an atrocious claim has been made by Pakistan’s Bol TV. According to them, Om Puri was murdered and the murderers are PM Narendra Modi and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Yes! you read that right. The anchor made these “exclusive” revealtions and said that RAW, Modi and Doval is responsible for the veteran actor’s death. The channel stated that Om Puri’s murder was planned at a place close to his house.

He also claimed that Om Puri wanted his son to convert to Islam. According to the channel, Modi’s next targets are Fawad Khan and Salman Khan.

Now these are very huge and controversial claims to make, as you are accusing a country and its Prime Minister of conspiracy and the murder. The News Anchor too pressurised on the fact that he has got these “exclusive and sensational revelation” from their trustworthy news sources. We could have considered his claims but the same anchor also stated that Om Puri is the younger brother of late actors Madan Puri and Amrish Puri. Facepalm! If only the news anchor had done his research properly he would’ve known that there is no relation whatsoever between the two brothers, Madan Puri and Amrish Puri, and Om Puri, apart from that fact that they share the same surname. So much for research…eh?
