A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature
Section 375 is a thinking man's courtroom drama that stands head and shoulders above the other Hindi films of its kind owing to the strong legal research work and brilliant performances of Richa Chadha, Akshaye Khanna, Meera Chopra and Rahul Bhat.
Director Ajay Bahl shows great control over the material at hand. He has greatly grown as a filmmaker since B.A. Pass and is truly capable of handling much complex subjects. The film unfolds in a Rashomon-like manner which makes it layered and endlessly engaging.
It's heartening to see a commercial Hindi film with a taut narrative and without any forcible insertion of songs.
