1.Tulane came out fast, took the lead early. UL made it close but, never really were in it.

2.Tulane ran the ball well for 337 yards which was the main difference as UL only had 84 yards.

New Mexico Bowl- Utah St. 52-13 North Texas

1.Once Mason Fine (starting qb for North Texas) left the game with a pulled hamstring Utah St. took over and the game was never in doubt, total domination.

2.This game was never in doubt in anyway as the Aggies had 359 Passing Yards and 197 running yards against NT’s 193 passing yards and 120 rushing yards.

Las Vegas Bowl- Arizona St. 20-31 Fresno St.

1.After an even 1st half (17-17) the Sun devils only scored 3 2nd half points leading to an 11 point win.

2.Frenso St.’s defense was the difference as they slowed down the Sun Devil’s offense and offensively they 260 yards rushing.

Camellia Bowl- Georgia Southern 23-21 Eastern Michigan

1.This is what was expected as Georgia Southern had 331 rushing yards and threw just 7 passes the whole game, this is what they do, they slow the game down.

2.Eastern Michigan played a better than expected game but, could not get the win.

New Orleans Bowl-Mid TN 13-45 Appalachian St.

1.absolute destruction by Appalachian St. they came out took control early and never gave Mid TN a chance.

Overall:

1.The best game was the Camelia bowl which was close, but all games went as expected.

Ahead:

1.The Midweek slate is weak (Boca Raton Bowl as UAB vs N.Illinois Tues 7pm ESPN, Wednesday its the Frisco Bowl between San Diego St. and Ohio at 8pm on ESPN and Thursday its the Gasparilla from Tampa between Marshall and USF 8pm on ESPN) The best one is on Thursday. The Weekend gets a little better with The Idaho Potato Bowl Friday between Western Michigan and BYU at 4pm and an early game at 1230pm as FIU and Toledo face off in the Bahamas Bowl from Nassau both games are on ESPN.

2. Saturday is loaded as ESPN has 4 games, Noon-Birmingham Bowl between Memphis and Wake Forest then at 330pm its the Armed Forces Bowl from TCU between Houston and Army (nest game in my opinion), then at 7pm its the Dollar General Bowl from Mobile. as Buffalo faces Troy then at 1030pm its the Hawaii Bowl as Hawaii faces Louisiana Tech.
