WAXING the rounds

To wax or not to wax the cheese.  I have a friend with cows that makes cheese regularly.  Her production is up to more than what they can eat, and her refrigerator can’t hold any more. She’s trying to not increase her electric suck by not buying an additional refrigerator.  So, she’s learning to wax her cheese for storage in her cold cellar.  This next show is for those that already know how to wax (not cheese), or learning.  Take a look at this opportunity…

MEDIA:  Open to encaustic work. Mixed media is welcomed, but encaustic must be the primary medium.

ENTRY FEE: $25 for up to 3, $5 ea. add’l

JURORS:  After 6 years of successful shows, including: Hot Wax in the City, Wax(N)Blue and Unbound(ed), FUSEDChicago member Kathy Blankley Roman returns once again to jury the 7th Annual Encaustic Exhibition. Joining her is Dan Addington from Addington Gallery on board as guest juror.

SALES:  Morpho will retain a 20% commission from sales.
