Egyptian-Chinese negotiations to increase flights between Cairo and Beijing

Minister of Tourism Yahya Rashid revealed the existence of negotiations between the civil aviation ministries in Egypt and China to operate three weekly flights between Cairo and Shanghai.

In addition to the three weekly flights between Cairo and Beijing, the daily flights between Cairo and Guangzhou, as well as the numerous flights operating between several Chinese cities and the cities of Luxor, Hurghada and Aswan.

In a speech delivered on his behalf by the head of the internal tourism sector at the Egyptian Tourism Authority Dr. Adel Al-Masri on Monday to the 2017 China-Arab Tourism Conference in Yinchuan City, he praised the results of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields,

Rashed stressed that the relations between the two countries became more firmly established when Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement and translated into several industrial capacity projects.

The Minister of Tourism said that Egypt has taken several important steps to facilitate the visit of Chinese citizens, including the facilitation of obtaining a visa when the arrival of holders of Chinese passports to Egyptian airports and the formulation of travel programs suitable to the requirements of the Chinese traveler.
