I need help.  Much like my buddy Mac, who, when asked about his interests, replies "I collect hobbies..." I am a very much a hobby collector.  A collector of collections. 

One of my collections relates to spices and condiments.  The apartment spice rack is a literal bookshelf of purchased and collected spices.  The cabinets and counters enhance the collection with a cornucopia of oils, vinegar, cooking wines, extracts, flavorings, sauces, nuts, and dried fruits.  At a minimum, I try to keep at least one of everything you can find at any store (including specialty food stores).  Many of these on the shelf are infused, or the contents are hand-collected or homemade.

This obsession, I fear, will one day lead to a spontaneous flight to India, where I may die of some exotic spice allergy-induced asphyxiation.
