The Gunners, who have had an impressive run of form this season, securing a total of 12 wins from 18 Premier League games, 4 draws, and just 2 losses with a huge 40 points, making them appear in second place on the Premier League table, were thumped down by an impressive West Ham United side yesterday.

Mikel Arteta, reacting to his side's loss after the match, congratulated the West Ham side for an impressive match at the Emirates Stadium, acknowledging that they were a better side than the home team today.
"I congratulate West Ham and embrace my players. This is football, and we know how much we generated in the game.
"The result is very disappointing, but they were better than us in both boxes.
"They had two shots; with the penalty three, we had 70.
"In football, you have to bury your chances to win, and we didn't do that."
West Ham United's first goal came in the 13th minute as a result of Arsenal's sloppy defense.
