Speaking at a press conference in Stamford Bridge ahead of the weekend showdown with Sheffield United, Pochettino asserted the possibility of Christopher Nkunku in today's encounter against 'The Blades', which is slated to take place at Chelsea's home, Stamford Bridge, on December 16 at 15:00 UTC.
The Blues, who suffered a setback in their last match after a 2 nil trashing by Everton, and with key players Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez (the goalie), and Reece James (Chelsea's skipper), are expected to put up a stunner in today's match in order to move up the Premier League table.
Currently, Chelsea are ranked 12th on the Premier League table with just 19 points after 16 matches played, while Sheffield United (currently in the relegation zone) are ranked 20th in the Premier League table after securing just 8 points after playing the same number of matches as Chelsea FC.
Speaking on Nkunku's expected return in today's game, Mauricio Pochettino said:
"Yes, he can be involved. That is very good news.
"To be involved [Saturday] and be in the squad and to feel the competition after the pre-season is good news for us. We need to be calm and quiet so as not to put all the pressure on him. Now he's going to evolve; know the Premier League."
