The senior pastor of Salvation Ministries Hour of Salvation (SMHOS), David Ibiyeomie, has admonished Christians and members of his church not to hesitate in paying their tithes and offerings to God.
The pentecostal leader said this during a sermon at his church's headquarters located in Port Harcourt, the state capital of Rivers State.

David Ibiyeomie, citing his message from the book of Malachi 3:10–12, under the heading 'channels of giving' disclosed that tithe is the foundation of the covenant of prosperity for Christians.
"Don't wait until month end before you pay your tithes; as the money comes, pay it.
"Every time you get money, pay 10 percent back to God; don't say at the end of the month.
"Every time you get money, remove the 10 percent and pay it as a lifestyle; don't say until the end of the month.
"Pay your tithes as the money comes," Pastor Ibiyeomie said.
Emphasizing further the need for tithing, he disclosed that Christians can also pay their tithes through transfers online.
"We are in a modern society where you can transfer; you don't have to wait, so you can do your transfer online.
"Give quality offerings; plan your offerings.
"The offerings should be bigger than the tithes.
"Tithes are 10 percent; offerings should be bigger," he added.
The clergy, explaining his sermon, stated that his tithes and offerings are part of the reasons he is prosperous in the ministry.
