Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a. Sen Binani, the governorship candidate for the main opposition All Progressive Congress in Adamawa State, is prohibited from using the Women Development Center, WDC Yola, a public facility to distribute money to the remaining 1,000 less Fortunate Petty Traders throughout the state’s 21 local government areas.

The beneficiaries were stranded due to the sad events that occurred at the women’s development centre on Tuesday.

The trusted committee members who were in charge of distributing the funds revealed to the newsmen that when they arrived to finish their task, they discovered the location to be closed.

We tried to have access to the facility however diplomatically but we are prevented from using it. We’re told that the facility belongs to the state government and that there was no granted permission for its access by us to the state government.

The committee member stated,

We are now trying to find a befitting venue to be able to continue with our assignment, ensuring that the exercise is not unduly frustrated and the beneficiaries are not stranded.
