COLUMBUS, Ohio—LIVE! Technologies, a Columbus-based full-service event production, video and creative services company, announced that it has completed its acquisition of Iacono Productions, making it the largest audiovisual production company in the region.

Based in Cincinnati, Iacono Productions specializes in event production, experiential branding, specialty fabrication and video production.

“This acquisition brings together two organizations with over 80 years of combined experience,” said LIVE! Technologies President and CEO Rusty Ranney. “Our ability to concept, create and execute any type of event – corporate, concert and community, will be significantly amplified by this merger. And it was more than just the footprint and assets we were interested in, it was also Iacono’s great talent pool and creative approach to all it touches.”

Iacono Productions was founded in 1981 by Mike Iacono and has become one of the nation’s premier live event, media production, brand activation and experiential marketing companies from its base in Cincinnati, Ohio.

LIVE! will provide services nationally and throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and will employ over 200 team members. The company will direct its growing service offerings from multiple facilities in Columbus and Cincinnati.

The acquisition of Iacono Productions is just one part of LIVE!’s growth strategy, which includes a new branding initiative focused on the company’s 45-year history of creating innovative, memorable “LIVE” experiences. “Look we’re rooted in the entertainment business, and now we are looking to bring that experience, expression and energy through other service offerings and touches, especially digital content and brand filmmaking,” said Ranney.
