Alpha Financial Planning is a fee-only financial planning firm headquartered in Dublin, Ohio. We specialize in Business retirement plans and fee-only financial planning for families and individuals. We do not sell any products and do not earn any commissions. Our consultative and comprehensive planning process has been enhanced over 30 years and is perfect for businesses and individuals alike.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values.
Our fee-only approach to financial planning always puts our clients first. It is our fiduciary responsibility to put them in the best possible position to be successful. We strive to be a trusted resource for our clients and are proud to operate within a model that makes us earn your business on an ongoing basis.  

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
Meeting other business owners and learning how we can continue to grow alongside the other thriving Columbus Chamber members. Also having the opportunity to showcase our Team and Business model at the wonderful chamber events.

 How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
To get a feel for the everchanging business landscape requires interaction. You really need to be networking with people (in person) continuously. Sending a text or email will not allow you to feel the pulse the current business environment the way you need to. If we are continuously learning and growing within the industrial landscape, we can best adapt to industry trends and the changing needs of our clients. We are continuously seeking out new insight regarding what should be top of mind in our for our valued clients.

What is your company culture like?
Very friendly and easy going. Our Office overlooks the Scioto River, so it is a relaxing work environment. We believe a healthy work life balance is important in every profession. We host a monthly open house mixer for clients and colleagues. If you are able to attend, we would love the opportunity to share what makes our office special. Our only rule is that we do not talk about work business while hosting these events – Just have fun!

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
A lot of C’s! The constitution and commitment to always do what is in the clients’ best interest. Continuous communication with our trusted strategic partners and colleagues. Conviction to make sure the job is done the right way and within the timeframe expected. And finally, collaboration with our clientele, business partners and each other.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
A wonderfully diverse landscape. Columbus offers something for everyone. It is very much the city of tomorrow and its residents can feel it. There are always new opportunities and experiences. The people of Columbus all want to help the city grow in their own special way. Buckeye Football doesn’t hurt either!
