The Nigerian entertainment industry is shrouded in sadness as the news of the passing of renowned Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, widely known as Sisi Quadri, echoes through the corridors of Tinseltown.

Colleagues from the Yoruba movie industry took to social media on Friday to announce the untimely demise of the beloved actor, leaving fans in shock and mourning. 

Among them, Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo shared a heartfelt tribute on her verified Instagram handle, bidding farewell to the late Sisi Quadri. "You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace," she expressed.

The cause of his passing remains a mystery as details are yet to be confirmed at the time of reporting.

Sisi Quadri, born on December 25, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, made a significant mark in the Yoruba movie scene. His acting journey began around a decade ago, with a standout role in the film "Seranko Seniyan," earning him the affectionate moniker "Sisi Quadri."

The late actor carved a niche for himself as a comedic force, enchanting audiences with his performances in notable Nollywood productions like "Aje Ni Eegun," "Iya Oko Mi," and "Omo Iya Oko."
