Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), found himself back in court for the continuation of his terrorism trial, led by the Department of State Services (DSS).

The legal saga took a turn in December 2023 when the Supreme Court redirected Kanu's case to the Federal High Court, compelling the continuation of the prosecution process. This decision overturned the earlier verdict from the Appeal Court that had absolved Kanu of all terrorism charges.

This Monday morning saw Kanu once again navigating the judicial corridors as the DSS brought him before the court, setting the stage for a crucial phase in the ongoing legal battle. 

The rescheduled hearing, initially slated for February 8 but adjourned to February 26, marks a pivotal moment in determining the course of Kanu's terrorism charges.
