Laal Singh Chaddha: Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Others Pay Homage to India’s Martyrs

Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ going to release on the auspicious occasion of the Raksha Bandhan festival. The comedy-drama is directed by Advait Chandan with a screenplay from Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. It is the remake of the iconic Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump that is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name.

The audience clearly can not wait to witness how the journey of Laal Singh Chaddha unfolds on screen. Ahead of its release, the team behind the movie including Aamir Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and director Advait Chandan visited the National War Memorial in New Delhi to pay homage to India’s martyrs.

Not many are aware that Mona Singh’s late father Jasbir Singh was a retired colonel in the Indian Army and, she along with the team o holds the Indian Army with honour and high regard.

After getting postponed for a long time, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is finally releasing on August 11, 2022, in theatres near you. You can check out the trailer for the film, here.
