Numark recently released the Mixstream Pro +, an upgraded version of the popular Mixstream Pro standalone controller released back in October 2021.

In addition to the already-supported streaming services – those being TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource, and SoundCloud Go+ – the new unit also works with Amazon Music.

Additionally, both the Mixstream Pro and the Mixstream Pro + now work with Serato DJ and Virtual DJ (for laptop DJ’ing) in addition to the built-in Engine DJ software the unit uses in ‘standalone’ mode.

Thanks to the WiFi connectivity and built-in speakers, the Mixstream Pro has been a popular choice among beginners and ‘just for fun’ DJs, in part because you don’t need to own speakers and/or a digital music collection.

If you currently own a Mixstream Pro, the good news is, the new unit is identical in every way with regards to the build and specs.

Also note that only Serato DJ Lite will work out-of-the-box (for free), so you’d need to buy a licence if you wanted to use Serato DJ Pro or Virtual DJ. The Mixstream Pro + is available now for $699 US dollars. Visit Numark’s website here.
