This will be a series about questions we receive from customers and the answers give by the Boysen technical team. Unless you want to be known as the source of any of the questions we will tackle in this series, we will not identify you for the sake of your privacy.
Boysen considers customer service very important. Our technical team is the OG—original gangster, if you didn’t know. They’re a group of engineers who are competent, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I’ve been running this blog for more than five years, and in all this time, there is no question they cannot answer. If you pull a Denzel Washington and tell them, “Explain this to me like I’m a two year old (well, maybe 12),” then they will try their best and based on my experience, they’ve succeeded every time.
Paint TechTalk
We call it TechTalk because using paint is not as easy as we are led to believe. There are technical aspects to consider before you coat your wall with your desired color. You need to know what substrate you are using—concrete, wood, metal, or drywall. Then you need to know the condition of that wall. Was it already painted before? Is it bare? Was it primed? Is the paint peeling? What’s the condition of the wall? Is the surface wet to the touch? Is it found inside or outside the home?
The questions also change depending on the intended application or the product you want to use. Boysen has hundreds of products, after all. What most people know, however, is the acrylic latex paint that enjoys a strong customer loyalty because of its outstanding performance. Hundreds of Inquiries Daily
Despite receiving hundreds of inquiries every day, our social media manager aims to achieve an over 90% response rate. No fake news here. And she’s no chatbot either. There are just too many types of questions and too many permutations to a question for that. This number does not include questions received by the technical team directly or those that come from other departments.
Inside info ahead. Sometimes, we get the same question asked in many of our customer touch points. In this case, we take it that naninigurado lang that the question gets to us. For those who have done that, let me assure you that we DO receive the question in triplicate or more.
