Real Madrid set to replace Zidane with Mourinho after 3-0 UCL loss to PSG

Real Madrid’s three times Champions League winner,Zinedine Zidane is at risk of taking exit door as president, Florentino Perez, is ready to re-appoint Jose Mourinho following their 3-0 defeat to PSG, UK Sun reports.

Madrid have drawn two of their opening four LaLiga matches this season and were crushed 3-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Zidane’s men did not only under-perform against PSG, they also failed to record a shot on target.

However, reports suggests that Perez is willing to give Mourinho a second stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, as he feels the Portuguese “is the only man to get the club back on the run way.

The former Manchester United boss has been open for a return back to Madrid and felt he was a strong contender to get the job, after Santiago Solari was sacked in March.

But several players in the dressing room, including captain Sergio Ramos, were against him coming back to the Bernabeu and Perez opted to re-appoint Zidane instead.

The 56-year-old Portuguese tactician could make his way back to Spain after where he helped Madrid win the La Liga title in 2012.
