From June 28 till July 11, the Wimbledon Championships 2021 will host the two most-awaited tennis weeks of the year. Notably, the tournament marks its return to the tennis calendar after being canceled last year due to the ongoing pandemic.

Fans are also excited to witness the third annual and the only grass-court Grand Slam tournament in tennis. Significantly, 50% spectator capacity will be allowed at the Championships for the first 11 days, and a 100% spectator capacity will be allowed for the ladies’ and gentlemen’s final at the Centre Court.

TV coverage for Wimbledon Championships 2021

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will be the leading broadcaster of the Championships in the United Kingdom. Eurosport UK will also televise the grass-court major in Great Britain.

The Eurosport channel will also cover the event in many regions, including Russia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Iceland, Czech Republic, and many more areas. In the United States, American cable company ESPN and Tennis Channel will broadcast the Championships live from Wimbledon.

Fans in Asia have Disney Networks Singapore Pte Ltd. as their chief programming source. In India, Wimbledon will be live on Stars Sports Network, including Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, China has CCTV 5 doing the broadcast in the local language and IQIYI in English.

For the Canadians, TSN Canada will cover the revered grass-court event. For Australia, the Nine channel will do the needful, whereas beIn Sports will take care of the French audience.

In Africa, the channel to watch between June 28 and July 11 is Canal Plus International, and in Italy, it is Sky Italia; in Japan, it is NHK and WOWOW, and Telefonica/Movistar+ will telecast in Spain.
