Riversend is the professional name of the boyfriend-girlfriend songwriting team of Zack Miranowic and Olivia Horovitz. They made their recording debut in September of last year with the single “Dreaming”. That track introduced a talented duo of recording artists with a dark ethereal sound.

Since their debut, the prolific pair have released four singles and they are currently working on their first album. The New Jersey couple specializes in creating cinematic and atmospheric moods. Their sound is a unique mix of ambient vibes, art-rock themes and a dark metal aesthetic. When not crafting moody soundscapes, Miranowic is lead guitarist for metal bands Sekond Skyn and Disciples of Verity (ft. Corey Glover of Living Colour).  

“Moonlight” is a recent single from Riversend, released worldwide via all major streaming services on Halloween, October 31, 2022. Ambient synths and a melancholy guitar introduce the track as Olivia steps to the mic with a beautiful and heartbreaking lament. As the song progresses, ethereal layers of vocals, keys and guitars paint an emotional backdrop for the singer’s somber lament and Zack’s epic melodic guitar harmonies.
