CedMoney$ is an award-winning independent Hip-hop artist currently based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Originally from GulfPort, Mississippi the multifaceted artist has a Deep South vibe and a laid-back flow. Growing up, he cut his teeth listening to old-school Southern and West Coast rap like HotBoys, NoLimit and the legendary NWA.
As he started writing his own music, CedMoney$ combined the Southern hardcore sound of his heroes with his own natural talent for writing catchy hooks. The skill has earned him the nickname ‘Hook Making God.’ In 2014 he even won a “Best Hook” award in the UK for his song “Lil Sumthin.” Over the past 3 years the prolific rapper has released a steady string of successful singles, EPs and the full length album “HMG2 90’s Baby.”
