Soviet Film Wednesday: Jacob’s Ladder

Jacob’s Ladder

Jacob’s Ladder is a short animation that was meant to be a pilot for a film, however the film was never released.  It was directed by Alexey Turkus and Alexey Shelmanov, and inspired by an illustrated storyboard by Marc Chagall.

The first half shows the animation, and the last half shows the storyboard with an English narration.
