James my dad Called from the sitting room before I continue let me tell you a little about my dad Daniel otchemore he was a civil servant now retired he’s about 3 ft dark skinned, a real disciplinarian to the core, he held me with iron hands if there is a word stronger that iron let’s say he held me with vibranium hands, don't mind me am still in the wakanda mode,also an animal lover my home is like a mini zoo I must confess  you can’t stay at home with my dad for an hour idle an idle man is a devils workshop he would say, you have to do something, some silly errands like “come and scratch my back “ he hasn’t sent me that type of an errand lately tho because of out last experience I made sure I scratched his back until he begged for mercy ,still keeping my nails for such errands like that or he could just call and ask have you tasted chicken head before and if I say no he’s going to say when next we kill a chicken remind me I will let you eat  the head Trust me there is no another day lol it’s either he’s bored or just want me to give my phone a break,This day when he called I thought it was another silly question I answered and he then told me that my exams are starting tomorrow which I already know don’t know why he was asking me until he asked “have you printed your exam pass” I was dumbfounded exam "Wah" never thought of anything like that before, I rushed  to uncle Samson’s cafe I logged in to my portal and printed my exam Pass I was mind blown my exam was tomorrow what am I going to do I haven’t read anything the probability of me passing the exam  was ¼  even less I had no time to waste I have to read something so I started with government I didn’t read for up to 3 hrs before Mr  sleep came over I didn’t hesitate to let him in .
Woke up the next day dressed up took few of my jottings at least those would help, off we were on our way to the great akoka my mum was nervous as if she was to write them exam, as soon as I got to the University of Lagos the first thing I noticed were the beautiful ladies I couldn’t help it I didn’t even think of the exam I was going to write until we got to DLI presented my exam pass off we go I was ushered to an hall by a light skinned woman she sounded nice and sweet and I was like I die here I must pass the exam then the good news came in its was a Computer based exam nothing like theory just objectives, they was no news better than what I just heard for the day, I hate mathematics especially theory, it was my batch turn the exam wasn’t what Joseph told me math questions were  less I answered my questions I omitted most of my maths questions I hate maths I still do, I left the hall nervous because I wasn’t sure if I was going to pass the exam or not my mum was also ready to let go the amount paid, She just said it well hope u did your best , and we set for home two days after I heard the result was out but I couldn’t check it because uncle Samson wasn’t around and I didn’t have any cash on me so I waited till the evening when my mom comes so I will be able to get some money from her when she came she did her usual prayer and in her prayer point she added “God I thank you for James admission” I stood still I didn’t believe what I just heard she hugged me and told me she was proud of me and I shouldn’t let her down because I would soon join the big community
We planned on keeping it secret but my basket mouth brother Collins had let everyone know about my admission some twisted their nose it’s their own problem not mine my friends came to congratulate me they started calling me  UNILAG BOY
I was so proud of my self I ended up looking down on my friends they didn’t look feel like the caliber of people I should be with so I ended up dropping them . TO BE CONTINUED 15/06/18
