A trailer has been released for the first DLC season of Mortal Kombat 11, confirming Sindel and Spawn and adding the T-800 and DC’s Joker.
After a leaked image showing the characters and their release dates earlier this morning, Netherrealm has released the cinematic trailer showing off the cast. Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are already out, with the T-800 Terminator arriving on October 8th; evil Outworld queen Sindel entering on November 26th; the fourth Netherrealm take on the Joker coming January 28th; and Todd McFarlane’s classic anti-hero Spawn rounding everything out on March 17th. Buying the full Kombat Pack nets you one week of early access with each character, a skin and gear for each of them, and 19 additional skins for the cast at large.
This is just the latest in Netherrealm’s guest character acquisition, with a bevy of horror icons filling the DLC of MK9 and X, as well as Kratos showing up in the PS3 MK9. Even their DC Comics-based Injustice games have crossovers with Mortal Kombat and other comic properties, like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It will be interesting to see if there is any DLC past this, and if so, what that may entail.
Mortal Kombat 11 is out now on all platforms. CGMagazine will bring you any major announcements on the game when they happen.
