Tonight as I was driving in my car around DC, proudly blasting Punjabi music, I Realized how alive and proud I felt in sharing my Culture with the world. I realized since i came back from abroad that I've felt somewhat in a rut in DC and unable to figure out what it was. Suddenly it dawned on me - there is absolutely no reason why I or anyone should be in a rut, should be doing something they don't want to be doing - security is bullshit and keeps you from experiencing life to its fullest. So, I've decided to leave my day job and take my event "The Culture Project" on tour around the USA in 2018 to share this important part of Indian culture and hopefully foster greater acceptance and diversity in our country. It's my belief that because of my unique life experiences living in multiple countries, I have a duty to be a conduit for cultural diversity in the West. I will try to hit as many states as I can, especially those in middle America and white-dominant regions. What I need more than financial assistance is moral support from my community behind this endeavor.
