Mysore Pak

The Royal sweet is considered to be the king of sweets in South.Made from a generous amount of ghee,sugar,gram flour and cardamon ,this mithai is hard to resist.


The filling of this Mithai is made from Bengal gram,jaggery or sugar ,Coconut and cardamon powder .This mixture is rolled into balls and then dipped in a batter of black gram dal and rice and deep fried till they are golden brown.These deep fried sweet balls are synonymous of joys and festivities.


Made from rice flour with a filling of grated coconut and jaggery ,these sweet dumpling are very similar to modaks which are very popular in other parts of India.You can add more taste and crunchiness to it by adding dry fruits.

Paniyaram or Sweet Idli

Khubani Ka Meetha

Apricots soaked over night in sugar water and then mashed into compote and then served with cream or custard ,This Andhra treat is a soft and sublime dessert .


Made from pouring egg yolk into boiling hot sugar syrup in the shape of circles ,This keralan unusual dessert is very popular and and can be served with the egg snow pudding .


A crisp crescent of dough filled with coconut and dry fruits and then deep fried till they are golden and crisp,this Andhra sweet is a big hit during the festival times.

Seeni Mithai

This traditional Tamil sweet is made from a mixture of rice flour, urad dal and cardamon.The batter is deep fried in spiral shapes ,then soaked in sugar syrup for some time.This sweet crispy Mithai is definitely loved by all.


Quite similar to Puran Poli,This South Indian Mithai is made by using maida dough and stuffing of sweetened Bengal gram.This Karnataka dessert has now been introduced to many variations like that of saffron and Dry fruits ,coconut fillings and even gulkand filling for that matter .
