The favorite TV shows I ever watched

Shows are usually very enggaging and easily bingable. Sometimes they are so good that we become attached to them and don't know what to do with ourselves when it's over. So for this occasion, I've gathered all of my favorite ones that I would recommend anyone to see.

1. Friends (1994-2004)

The perfect comedy source and the famous theme song that echoed through our childhood. Even if you weren't a 90s child, you probbably heard about this show and met their characters.  The show went on for 10 seasons and people were still heartbroken after it ended. The plot evolves around Rachel,Ross,Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe who are all a group of friends that hold on to eachother. Through the show we see the evolution of their friendship and how their lives are changing and it feels like we watched every day of their lives. The cast includes Jennifer Aniston as Rachel, Courtney Cox Arquette as Monica, Matthew Perry as Chandler, Matt Le Blanc as the hillarious Joey and Lisa Kudrow as Pheobe. If you watched this show or choose to watch it now, you're in for a lot of sarcasam and you'll catch yourself saying the show's most known catch phrases.

2. American Horror Story (2011- 2017?)

This is the first show that I watched after I let go of my fear of horror movies. In all of it's 7 seasons the gore and the sole message of the Series never vanishes. The graphic content and convincing performances may send shivers down your spine or leave you hooked and binging, wanting more. Each season tells a different Story and this show is not recommended if you are afraid of horror. On a personal note, season 1 is the best season out of them all and it collected a lot of fans based on it.
So the seasons are:
1. Murder House
2. Assuylum
3. Coven
4. Freakshow
5. Hotel
6. Roanoke
7. Cult
The reason I put a question mark is because the producers said that they would like to make another season as a revisit to season one but it hasn't been confirmed. This show has had a lot of guest stars and the star of the fifth season Hotel was Lady Gaga who had one of the lead roles on that season.

3.  Stranger Things (2016- )

Stranger things is a well known Netflix series that has gained a lot of popularity. The plot is set in the 80s and in the first season tells a story about a young boy named Will who dissapears under suspicous circumstances. His friends and his mother head out to search for him but only to discover his body in a river. However, the story doesn't end there. Because of the suspicious circumstances, his friends are restless. They discover that Will has been taken by a monster into an another dimension called " The Upside Down".  In this season, they all join forces in order to save him and bring him back to our world in which they succeed. They had help of an odd powerful girl called Eleven ( played by Millie Bobbie Brown). The second season focused more on Eleven and we find out more about who she is. The third season is in filming.

                                             4. 13 Reasons Why ( 2017- )

This teen  drama is the hit series of 2017. It tells an important message to our soceity and talks about a topic that's very present today. The story is about Hannah Baker, a troubled girl who left 13 tapes as her suicide note to her friends who are very responsible as to why she killed herself. The last one to recieve the tapes is the one who loved her the most, Clay Jensen. After listening to them he tries to make justice for Hannah by taking matters into his own hands. The second season which aired last month is based on a trial that all of her friends and school had to partake in because they were rightfully accused as being the cause of her untimely death. This show is relatable because it resonates with teens and that's because we have all experienced bullying or the high school life. The third season was announced last week and it's set to air in 2019.

5. The Vampire Diaries (2009- 2017)

For me, this show is number one and is my all time favorite. In all of the 8 seasons we see the life (and death) of Elena Gilbert who got involved with Stefan Salvatore, a vampire from Mystic Falls. After she made the realisation, she eventually was okay with it because Stefan was not a typical vampire that harms humans. They went through a lot of things together but driffted apart because of Elena's feelings for Damon, his brother. To be honest, Stefan and Elena and Damon always had those love triangle vibes. Out of all of these series, this is the only one I haven't finished and I'm on season 4 but I do have scoop on what happens. This series is just a thing of prefference, if you love supernatural and even hot boys you will love this. I mean, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Weasly are part of the cast. So this one I highly recommend.

6. Çoban Yıldızı(2017)

This turkish series although very short has a great story. The lead role is a girl named Zuhre who was forced to marry a rich and influential old man. On their wedding night after trying to break away from him she accidently stabbs him and runs off. On her escape she meets this guy Seit who hid her and protected her from the old man and his family. A lot of tragic events happened and they were never allowed to be together until the end of the show. The show has 17 episodes and everyone who likes love stories that conquer all will enjoy this.

7. Fazilet Hanım ve Kızlari (2017-2018)

Another turkish series that is the most popular one at the time. A raggs to riches story, shows a single mother's life and her struggles to find a better life for her daughters. After involving them with the powerful Egemens, what she thought was her salvation was the beggining of a neverending battle. Story about broken loves, ruined lives, happiness and sadness it captures the audience all so well. The show went on for 2 seasons and has recently ended.
