September 10, 2019 – In July the Trailer for Savior led one industry expert to exclaim, “LOOK AT THOSE SWEET ASS JUMPING ANIMATIONS!!!!! THE JUMPING!!!!!” and another to rave, “Holy smokes the animation. Holy smokes the combat. Holy smokes the end of this amazing trailer.” Now, Starsoft brings you an updated trailer nearly twice as long shedding more light on the story and characters in this epic open-world platformer adventure.

Starsoft follows up the original epic trailer with an extended version and gives fans an opportunity to join them for the wild ride

Along with the extended trailer, Starsoft is launching a Kickstarter campaign to connect with its most ardent fans and raise funding for the game. Backers at different tiers can get first access to demos and early builds as well as backer-only development updates. The feedback from backers will be channeled directly back into the game.

“We’ve been funding this project with our own savings for the last few years by working side jobs to keep the lights on,” explains Starsoft founder Weston Tracy. “Additional funding will help us move development forward at a much faster pace. Savior tackles some potentially controversial themes, like rationalism versus dogma, and we believe that Kickstarter is the best way to fund the game’s development while not having to water down any of the ideas we’re hoping to address.”

“The thing I’m most looking forward to is working together with our most ardent fans on all of the design decisions we’re making along the way,” adds biz dev and marketing guy Dan Adelman. “Small tweaks to the combat timing and parkour mechanics can make a huge impact on the game’s feel. We just can’t get that kind of feedback from within the team since we’ve played around with it so much. We really want our backers to be a part of this journey with us. When Savior launches, I want everyone to know that they played a huge role in its creation.”
