Netflix’s love, or rather say obsession, for Radhika Apte is a common knowledge now. While the Twitter debate #toomuchofRadhika is now slowly dying down, it looks like some brands have decided to cash in the buzz.
For the uninitiated amongst you, Netflix was bombarded with tweets, memes and even accusations that the streaming service is getting repetitive by casting Radhika in back-to-back projects. The debate triggered just after the release of Ghoul trailer, featuring Radhika, which followed the successful run of Sacred Games and Lust Stories, both featuring the stunning actress.
Grabbing the opportunity, restaurant aggregator app Zomato also took a go at the jokes. The app posted a listed of delicious paneer dishes on Twitter, bringing to everyone’s notice how Radhika is not the only one who is versatile.

While the tweet earned a lot of laugh and comments, Netflix was quick to hit back. Very cleverly, the service pointed out the omnipresence of Radhika Apte in Zomato’s tweet. Have a look here:

This Twitter exchange opened the floodgates as several brands also jumped in to earn more brownie points with the viral trend. While KFC found ‘chicken’ in the dishes, SET Max still thought Sooryavansham reigned supreme (seriously?).

Grofers also tweeted its own version. And so did Dominoes and Lifebuoy. Check out their tweets:

Cool, right?
It is not only the brands that are cashing on the viral phenomenon. The actress herself, in collaboration with Netflix, recently took part in a tongue-in-cheek video poking fun at her ‘omnipresence.’
The two-minute video is made like a behind-the-scenes featurette in which Radhika talks about her talents pretending to be a pretentious diva. The video also features Vikramaditya Motwane. Watch it right here:
