SEO is Search engine optimization. This is the process of getting traffic from search engine free, organic, editorial or natural search results. Simply put, this is the name that seeks to improve search engine rankings. In most cases, this is just quality control for your website.

SEO can target a variety of searches including image search, local search, video search, news search engine and more. With a good SEO strategy, you can put your website in place to find the users who are at the most important stage of the purchasing process and when your site needs them.

Search Engine Crawlers

Major Search Engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo use crawlers to search pages of algorithmic search results. Pages that link to index pages of other search engines are automatically detected and do not need to be submitted.

Search engine crawlers can look at various factors while crawling a site. Not all pages are indexed by search engines. The page's distance from the site's root directory also contributes to whether the page is crawled.

           Some things search engines don't want are keyword abuse, link purchases, and poor user experience (too many ads and high bounce rates).

           Domain names are important to the brand as a whole. As a best practice, use the subdirectory root domain (example.com/events) and subdomain (events.example.com). Another best practice for domain names is to use consistent domains and keywords in your URLs.

           Optimize for different types of results. In addition to optimizing the desktop experience, we focus on optimizing mobile and tablets along with other media.

           Site content requires a title tag and meta description. Meta tags are not as important as they were before, but if you use them, make sure they are formatted correctly.
