It is a well-known fact that dads have a special bond with their little girls. Ukranian artist Snezhana Soosh has created a series of watercolor illustrations show the magic and beauty of this relationship.
Most of Snezhana’s work is incredibly detailed, focusing on showing daily routines of fathers and daughters in a new light. The artist invites viewers to concentrate on what hides behind the image, what emotion it evokes.“I always wanted to have a tender and loving relationship with my own father, but he didn’t know how to show his love so most of the time was distant and cold,” Soosh told The Huffington Post. “I drew what I lacked and very much wanted — to feel loved and protected by my big papa.”
She mostly uses pastel, earthy colors, and the main theme of her illustrations is children, parenting, and the family bond.
