A few days back Shah Rukh Khan whose producing house Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the Film had tweeted “Main aap se Badla lene aa raha hoon @SrBachchan saab! Taiyaar rahiyega,” everyone was curious to know what he was talking about. Then when Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu posted the first look of their upcoming movie Badla the curiosity level grew even higher!

The trailer of Badla is out now and it looks very very interesting. The film looks like an intense revenge thriller and Amitabh Bachchan plays a lawyer once again while Tapsee is on the other side of the law. The duo have earlier shared screen space in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s 2016 National Award-winning film Pink.

The trailer has a very interesting start with a voice over in AB’s deep voice where he says; “Badla lena Sahi Nahi Hota, lekin har baar maaf karna bhi sahi nahi hota hai.” The film seems to have many layers and many questions to be answered. The trailer looks gripping and it’s brilliantly edited.There were speculations that SRK would be playing Tapsee’s husband in the film but looks like those were just speculations after all. But SRK might just be making a special appearance in the film. If that happens then fans will be in for a treat as Amitabh and Shah Rukh will be coming together for a film after almost a decade since the 2008 Bhoothnath.

Badla is an official Hindi remake of the Spanish film, Contratiempo which released in 2016, and is said to be a revenge thriller, where AB plays a lawyer investigating a young man’s death. The film was shot in several locations around Mumbai and Scotland. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Looks like this one is going to be full of interesting twists.
