Radhika Apte seems to be on a roll, after the Netflix Indian original Sacred Games where she plays Anjali Mathur, a RAW agent who used ventures into fieldwork after being at a desk job, Radhika will be seen next in another Netflix series titled Ghoul.
Ghoul is a horror series and its first Indian original series in the genre. Radhika plays a leading role in the series. Ghoul is based on the Arabic folklore of the myth of jinns. The show is set in a covert detention center where military officials interrogate terrorists and is set during an Orwellian time.

Radhika plays Nida Rahim in Ghoul. Nida is someone who desperately seeks social approval and to prove her loyalty for her country, she will do anything; even go as far as getting her father arrested! Nida is posted at Meghdoot 31, the covert detention center where the story of Ghoul takes place. The detention center is kind of spooky and has a mysterious energy. Nida’s interactions with her new team members create a strange vibe. Radhika’s character Nida discriminated against right from the start.

Ghoul which is written and directed by Patrick Graham and produced in partnership with Anil Ambani-led Reliance Entertainment’s Phantom Films, Ivanhoe and Blumhouse, is a three-episode series that released on 24 August.
