Set in the background of single screen cinemas, Milan Talkies has been set to release on 18th January in the year 2019. Apart from Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath as the leads, this Film also stars Reecha Sinha, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Sikander Kher and Pankaj Tripathi. Tigmanshu Dhulia, has shot the first part of the film as a director in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow and the later parts have been shot in Mathura.
The cast of Milan Talkies has been the talk of the town for a considerable span of time. Previously the lead role was supposed to be played by actors such as Shahid Kapoor, then Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Imran Khan was considered for it as well before finally narrowing down on Ali Fazal. Chhatwal who is the producer of the film calls himself to be a very happy man having worked with Tigmanshu Dhulia. He says that through this film the audience will have the opportunity to see a very different dimension of love story.

The old world charm has been portrayed throughout the film, as has been pointed out by the director Dhulia time and again. Along with directing this film, he has also been a part of the process of writing screenplay and the dialogues for the film along with Kamal Pandey. Dhulia points out that he has been working on the film for a very long time and hence it was very close to his heart. With the leads of the film namely Shraddha Srinath and Ali Fazal he portrays a tale of romance to his audience which is not only garnered by nostalgia but also old school romance.

The plot of the film is unknown and with Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 just released, he has been a busy director all this while.
The nostalgia through the film is something to look forward to and Bollywood audience has never shied away from “good” romantic cinema!
Hopefully, this film slated to release in January will meet all the expectations and do well at the box office impressing its audience with the performances and the promising plotline.
