Several Bollywood actors and actresses have found their breaks in the movies through commercial ads. And commercials related to chocolates always make us drool, don’t they? Today being the “Chocolate Day” (9th February), let’s take this opportunity to remember our favorite Bollywood stars who have made our mouths water through their Chocolate commercials.

Alia Bhatt in Cadbury Perk Ad

We have been seeing Alia Bhatt in a series funny of ads for Cadbury Perk. She looks fresh and bubbly and acts naughty in them. While in one ad she is seen playing pranks by what looks like the marine drive in Mumbai, on another instance she’s at the market, playing with a garment retailer’s nerves.

Katrina Kaif in Choc-on Ad

Didn’t you love Katrina’s appearance like a red riding hood in the commercial for Choc-on? she looks equally charming in her white furry robe in the same ad, where she fantasizes the red hooded version of herself handing over a bar of Choc-on to the white-robed lady, which is herself again.

Schmitten chocolate ad by Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka has been starring in a series of ads for Schmitten luxury chocolates now. The most recent one, shows waves of chocolates chasing and finally engulfing her with every bite of the chocolate. She looks pretty in her azure dress in the ad.

Kriti Sanon in Cadbury Fuse Ad

The recent Cadbury Fuse ad starts off with Kriti Sanon in a beautiful bottle green dress, shooting for a talk show, where the hosts praises her for her style and grace in every function. All of a sudden, while blushing at this remark, Kriti spots a member of the crew unwrapping a Cadbury Fuse. That sight prompts her to show up her actual self, and hurries to the boy and says she’s hungry with an attitude that frightens the boy and he hands over the chocolate bar, only to be devoured totally by Kriti.

Nushrat Bharucha in Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk ad

We’ve seen a host of actresses in the Dairy Milk Silk ads starting from Nimrat Kaur in the plain version and Vani Kapoor in the Caramello version to Disha Patani in the Silk Bubbly version, But my personal favorite among them, is by Nushrat Bharucha in the Silk Oreo version. The ad shows the “Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety” actress lying at the hospital bed with a fractured leg. She plays a small prank, with a visiting friend, by creating the crackling sound every time she bites at the Silk Oreo. The poor friend who was about to write a “get well soon” message on her plaster, when the sound was audible, was petrified by her act of pain, only to learn later that it was the crackle of the chocolate she was biting.

There are hosts of other actresses who have starred in chocolate ads, many of whom have gone unrecognized. So, today is the best day to give these ads a watch, and if no one has gifted you a chocolate yet, gift yourself one of those special Valentine’s edition of the Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, with a heart-shaped chocolate block right at the center of the bar, and you Chocolate Day will be sorted!
