Salman Khan’s sequel to the 2004 Kick, will hit the theaters on Christmas 2019. The film titled Kick 2 will be Salman’s second film to release in 2019! Salman’s fans will see him in Bharat directed by Ali Abbas Zafar which is slated for an Eid 2019 release and Kick 2.

Kick starred Salman and Jacqueline in the lead and was directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Kick 2 too will be directed by Sajid. The film was officially announced on the twitter handle by the producers, Nadiadwala Grandsons. While the makers have announced the names of the director and the main male lead, they are yet to announce the female lead of Kick 2.

Salman and Jacqueline became a super-hit Jodi post the success of Kick, but whether Jacqueline will be a part of Kick 2 too is yet to be seen as the makers have not made any official announcement about that. There were reports doing the rounds earlier that the makers are looking at a different actress to play the female lead and some even reported that it could be Deepika Padukone who will be playing the female lead opposite Salman. However, those are all speculations as of now.

Salman and Jacqueline are currently doing Remo D’Souza’s Race 3, which is slated to release this Eid. While it would be nice to see Salman and Jacqueline together again in Kick 2 as well, it might be interesting to watch Deepika romance Salman instead!
