Be it for her excellent Bollywood debut in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, the sports drama, based on the life of the Indian skipper or the lovely Reliance Trends and Cadbury Dairy milk ad, Disha Patani has never failed to charm us with her beautiful smile and great physique.

The Bareilly born actress, kick-started her career in films with the Telegu Movie Loafer in 2015, and the next year, she was featured opposite to Tiger Shroff in the music videoBefikra. The next effective role for which Bollywood remembers her, was of course in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story again in 2016, after which she signed for Kung Fu Yoga, an Indo-Chinese co-production of an adventure/mystery/comedy, with Jackie Chan that was released in 2017. Reports say, that Jackie Chan was quite impressed with her role in the movie.

Disha Patani’s Upcoming Movies

Baaghi 2

Disha’s next movie Baaghi 2 is all set to release on 30th March this year (2018). This will be a sequel or the second installment of Baaghi, the 2016 action drama by director Ahmed Khan. The success of the 2016 film is what urged the director and producer Sajid Nadiawala to work on its sequel. However, in place of Shraddha Kapoor the female lead role has been replaced by Disha Patani, while Tiger Shroff remains to be the lead actor in the movie. Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee will also be seen along with this rumored “jodi” in the supposedly action-packed movie. So, here’s hoping for another box office hit soon!

Sangamithra

Later this year, Disha will be seen starring as the lead actress in the Tamil movie Sangamithra, written as well as directed by Sundar C. Disha will be seen along with other famous Tamil actors Jayam Ravi and Arya, in this historic epic fiction movie produced by Hema Rukmani. All set to release in November 2018, this movie was supposed to cast Shruti Hassan in the lead role, which she declined due to certain differences with the moviemakers. It was then that Hema zeroed-in on Disha Patani for the lead role. For Disha this will be her debut in Tamil movies.

Every actor/actress wanting to make it big in the film industries, has had to deal with some fair shares of rumors and gossips, and Disha is not exempt from that either. However, even amidst several stories of her relationship with Tiger Shroff and of Disha hiding her actual age doing the rounds, she has not failed to impress us in every stunt of hers.
