There is no relationship that can thrive on dishonesty or lack of respect and hence never let go of these for a person who expects you to change.

Your significant other may not be happy with your company but they can’t rule out your friends based on their dynamics. If they ask you to cut ties with your friends without a substantial reason, they are being unreasonable. You build a social life with a lot of efforts and compromising it for a relationship would be a big mistake. Never let your friendships die in the wake of a relationship.

Your Ambitions

Nobody said a successful person can’t be in a relationship. There’s no choice when it comes to love and Ambition. Both are equally important to shape you as a person and hence if a partner expects your ambition to take a back seat in front of them, they are wrong.
